About me

Volkan Soner Özsoy is an Associate Professor at the Department of Management Information Systems of the College of Administrative Sciences and Economics at Aksaray University in Aksaray, Türkiye. He earned his Ph.D. and M.Sc. degrees in Operations Research of the Department of Statistics from Gazi University in Ankara, Türkiye, with the thesis entitled Bootstrap Approach for Models of Dynamic Network Data Envelopment Analysis, and New decision support system for performance analysis, respectively. He also got his B.Sc. degree in Statistics and Computer Science at Karadeniz Technical University, Trabzon, Türkiye.

About my research

His research mainly focuses on machine learning, operations research, meta-heuristics, multi-criteria decision making, data envelopment analysis and performance analysis. His research has appeared in journals such as Annals of Operations Research, Expert Systems with Applications, Applied Mathematics and Computation, and European Journal of Public Health.
